Spherical back designs are ideal for compensating for all simple ametropies, myopia and hyperopia of any corrective entity, even in association with presbyopia (PROGREX modules at p. 12).
They are susceptible to all constructive parameters (base curve, diameters, optical zones, thickness), so as to adapt the lens to different corneo-scleral situations.
To maximize the oxygen transmissibility (Dk/t) and to meet the daytime wear criteria, all contact lenses are designed with optimized thicknesses and lenticular front surface, whose dimensions vary depending on the corrective power.
